3 Inked Demons

I started working on finishing up the 5/10 I was satisfied with from the first batch of 10. I'm going to start trying to sketch/finish one per day if possible. I have learned my lesson that cramming 10 design attempts into 2 days=half of them are worthless.

10/52 Demons

To clarify, I'm redoing at least 5 of those. The ideas were kind of getting there, but didn't make it...and I don't like the approach of doodling them with the suits already on there. I've discovered that this isn't the best approach for me to draw 52 monsters...I drew 4.5 in one night and 5.5 in another and the designs became mushy and lame after a while, so these will def be redone...So I will edit this post in the future with the revised versions. UGH.

Death Penalty slight color revision

Death Penalty Progress

I'm not sure what all I'm supposed to put up on here from the death penalty project. I'm just about wrapping it up now...working on cooling down some colors and such right now so any critique would help. (Apologies that it's a crappy pixelly screenshot.)

Collab Beginnings

This is retardedly hard to see, but it's my sketch that I just passed over to Rory to paint. So brutal. I'll update when it's finished.

Logo

Made it into a band logo for my boyfriend's band. I found some cool metal fonts in the process, too. I played around a lot with integrating the text...I feel a lot of times when text is placed on an image for a logo it just flattens out or looks simply pasted on, so I tried it with a 1pt white stroke and slightly blurred it in hopes it would look less sharp and out of place...plus I put the drool/tongue overtop of it.

Done!! :D
