I can't stand the Twilight hype. It often reminds of R.L. Stine trying to write an Anne Rice novel.
Though I'll admit the Southern Vampire Chronicles with Sookie Stackhouse are my vampy soap opera....
I have never heard of the Southern Vampire Chronicles!
I think the worst thing about Twilight is just like.....the realization of the declining intelligence of the general public. Sigh.
I remember when I hit that point but remember who we're selling to most of the time.
The Southern Vampire Chronicles was the basis for the HBO series True Blood. The writer is actually based in the mid-south area and really pokes fun at and actually incorporates other creates into the series such as shape shifters, telepaths, and werewolves.
Augh werewolves!!!! I love werewolves though. I don't think ANYONE can fuck them up. It's a person. That turns into a MONSTER WOLF heck YEAH!
